Nailed hand on wooden cross.

My friend,  I don’t  know what things  happened this year or what didn’t  happen but you  were expecting it. I do not know if you’ve ever wondered, “God why did I not get that job or why did that door not opened, why did that friendship end or why didn’t I meet that special someone?”. Or maybe during this holiday season you feel more alone than ever.

I want to remind you of one thing when you’re in tears, alone or full of uncertainty. Your name is engraved on the palms of God’s hands. (Isaiah 49:16).

That means, that every second of your life God is watching over you, your name is not ever deleted from his mind, you are marked in his heart. You are everything to him. He goes before you and follows you (Psalm 139: 5).

There is not a single moment that passes by that you go unnoticed by God. Do not think, He  forgot about you because He is too busy or He is not interested in certain areas of your life. If he tells you my friend, that He has your name engraved on the palm of his hands, then you know all is well in your life, even when you do not understand your circumstances. You have to rest in Him (Hebrews 4: 3) and have faith in his promises. Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11: 6).

He is not a man to lie or fail you, he is GOD. He is Sovereign, Omniscient, Omnipresent, and He is also a kind and compassionate Father. The adjective that describes Him in a complete way, is the word LOVE. Nobody, absolutely no one loves you more than he loves you, that is a fact. He has the best interest in mind for your life even when you might not understand things around you.

My beautiful friend, never doubt, His everlasting love for you (Jeremiah 31: 3). Not a moment goes by without him thinking of you.

Next time your circumstances want to make you doubt about the good destiny God has for you (Jeremiah 29:11), just remember that for the sake of  love for you and your name engraved on His palms, he allowed his hands to be pierced with nails to the cross.
